For 20 years, Island Volunteer Caregivers (formerly Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers) has assisted the elderly, persons with disabilities, and those temporarily in need to maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
IVC serves as a link between the people in our community who need help and those who are able to help. Our volunteers provide transportation, caregiver support and assistance to seniors and others. We help fill in the gaps so that people can live as independently as possible. We’ve been making neighbor to neighbor connections since 1996.
We invite you to explore our website and learn more about who we are and how you can get involved.
IVC has a new video celebrating 20 years of helping people in our community. Here it is: IVC: Celebrating 20 Years of Caring (2017)
