If you are looking a caring, friendly, understanding group for non-medical support, please contact IVC at 206-842-4441. You will be connected with our Community Outreach Navigator, Katie Auger, who will meet with you and get you registered into our system. Normally, this would also include a home visit, however due to COVID, our assessments are mostly done by phone.

Once you are in our system, you simply give us a call and speak to anyone of us to make a request for — a ride to a medical appointment, a grocery shopper and delivery, for a phone “buddy’ to visit with each week, or to get involved with a variety of Life Enrichment activities - limited at this time, but we are still having fun and connecting with others!

We look forward to a light at the end of the Covid tunnel when we can get back to physically connecting for coffee, gardening, helping you around the house, trips to the hair salon or to play bridge at the Senior Center…we have so much to offer, but for the moment, we are there for what is essential to you.

Our outstanding volunteers are all practicing the utmost care and safety providing our services. We require each volunteer to have a background check, a current driver'‘record from the State of Washington, to have a vehicle inspection, and to follow our IVC Policies and Covid Guidelines for your safety, and peace of mind. All that aside, we have the very best volunteers to be found anywhere who become friends along the way.
