Seeking Development and Communications Manager (Part-time, Contract)
Island Volunteer Caregivers (IVC) seeks a Development and Communications Manager to lead fundraising and communications efforts, supporting IVC's operations. This is a temporary contract position that will work closely with the Executive Director and committees to achieve fundraising goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in donor relations, event planning, and creating effective messaging across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Executive Director and committees to accomplish fundraising goals.
Develop and execute donor stewardship strategies.
Oversee fundraising materials, social media, newsletters, and marketing outreach.
Manage event planning and execution.
Ensure consistent, compelling communication reflecting IVC’s brand and mission.
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in fundraising, communications, or nonprofit management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Office 365, Google Workplace, Salesforce, social media, and website content creation.
Collaborative, positive attitude with attention to detail.
