Seeking Development and Communications Manager (Part-time, Contract)

Island Volunteer Caregivers (IVC) seeks a Development and Communications Manager to lead fundraising and communications efforts, supporting IVC's operations. This is a temporary contract position that will work closely with the Executive Director and committees to achieve fundraising goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in donor relations, event planning, and creating effective messaging across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and committees to accomplish fundraising goals.

  • Develop and execute donor stewardship strategies.

  • Oversee fundraising materials, social media, newsletters, and marketing outreach.

  • Manage event planning and execution.

  • Ensure consistent, compelling communication reflecting IVC’s brand and mission.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in fundraising, communications, or nonprofit management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with Office 365, Google Workplace, Salesforce, social media, and website content creation.

  • Collaborative, positive attitude with attention to detail.
